FAQs

  • First, contact Falon, Leah, or Leslie and tell us what you're looking for. We each work with our own clients for intake, scheduling, and billing.

We'll respond with our availability, ask anything else we need to know, answer your questions, and briefly go over payment method.

If you want to go forward we'll collect some info from you and send online forms and information. The link for this paperwork will include a welcome email with important info including how to schedule appointments.

When your paperwork is completed, you can schedule an appointment and we will look forward to meeting you!

  • Our office is located at 506 E. College St. in the lower level of the Blank and McCune building with access from the Van Buren St. alley.

We have two accessible parking spots available in the lot in front of our building. Additional parking (first hour free then $2/hr) is available in the Chauncey Swan ramp across Van Buren St. as well as metered and unmetered street parking on surrounding streets.

  • Our providers accept out-of-pocket payments and accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. We may also be able to work with other insurances if they provide coverage for out-of-network providers. Some providers may offer sliding scale rates on a limited basis. Session rates are $200 for an intake and $175 for a 55 minute session.

To see if your insurance will cover therapy with us, use our insurance coverage calculator.

  • Visit the contact page to connect with Falon, Leah, or Leslie. We answer emails, texts, and calls as soon as possible but may take up to 2 business days depending on our client schedule.

If we're unavailable for an extended period, we will use autoresponders to let you know when we'll be available again.

While we use best practices to protect client and potential client information, please be aware that electronic communication involves risks and use caution when sharing sensitive information.

  • Your privacy is crucial for you to feel comfortable sharing sensitive information and is one of the most important facets of therapy.

Except in extreme cases outlined in our informed consent, we are bound by HIPAA and will not share your protected health information. We are also ethically and legally bound to hold what we discuss in strict confidence. Except for a few required exceptions for legal obligations, health, and life-or-death safety concerns, what you say in therapy stays in therapy.

  • If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please contact your provider 24 hours in advance. While there are some circumstances you can’t predict, please let us know as soon as you can in these situations.

Fees may be assessed for not showing up to a scheduled appointment or cancelling with less than 24 hours of notice.

Issues with perpetual late cancellations or no-shows for appointments may result in termination from treatment; referrals will be provided. This policy may seem strict, but these guidelines  ensure that sessions are available for people who need them, allows us to keep client load reasonable, and maintain a mutually respectful relationship.

  • As psychotherapy providers at a private practice, we provide the least urgent level of mental health care and do not provide emergency/crisis support services.

While we absolutely can work through the impact of a crisis, therapists in the private practice setting are not trained to directly manage an active emergency.

If an emergency occurs, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call 988 for immediate and appropriate support.
